This was a commercial axis, preceding the Incas, for the transport of gold, silver, coca leaves and animal fibres. The valley is formed by small villages of farmers, traders and ranchers, and there are also towns of sorcerers, bakers, brick builders, as well as musicians and dancers who pay homage to the Virgen del Carmen and the Señor del Qoyllor Riti.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row row_height_percent=”0″ back_color=”color-lxmt” overlay_alpha=”50″ gutter_size=”3″ column_width_percent=”100″ shift_y=”0″ z_index=”0″ uncode_shortcode_id=”114832″ back_color_type=”uncode-palette”][vc_column width=”1/3″][uncode_list icon=”fa fa-asterisk” uncode_shortcode_id=”170509″]

Distance of the Cusco: 42 kilometers.

Tour of temples in the South Valley: 3 kilometres

Altitude: 3.450 – 3.200 m.a.s.l.

Recommended time for the Route: half a day

[/uncode_list][vc_button button_color=”accent” hover_fx=”full-colored” border_width=”0″ link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Frutadelbarrocoandino.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2015%2F05%2FAF_RBAnew_INFOGRAFIA_V12_RGB_WEB.pdf|target:_blank” button_color_type=”uncode-palette” uncode_shortcode_id=”478555″]DOWNLOAD MAP (PDF)[/vc_button][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=”178043″]

These are not museum temples, they are living temples!
